Green Power Solutions (GPS) operates a biomass power plant in Dublin, Georgia. GPS is jointly owned by the Beasley Group, ASK Partners and WestRock. The power plant produces steam for a neighboring recycled linerboard mill and produces electricity for Georgia Power. The power plant uses several fuel sources including wood fuel produced within 70 miles of the plant.
The wood fuel includes bark from wood using mills and wood fuel produced by chippers and grinders and comes from sustainable sources. The Beasley Group manages the wood fuel procurement for Green Power Solutions.
